It sounds like an administrative job, doesn’t it? It is dry and correct, and true. But there is an important piece missing. Most people we know in the music publishing business are musicians, multitasking wizards with passion for music or “friendagers”. We see ourselves as a blend with its own unique flavor. Marie is the musician and I am the “friendager” - the friend who became manager and the one to call to in the middle of the night when you get a nasty comment on your web site. And we all have tremendous passion for music. All of the above combined with a thorough understanding of how important it is to know every possible path (and pitfall) in the jungle that we call music bizz is a powerful mix. We constantly enhance this mix in order to protect the intellectual property of everyone involved and keep the most important ingredient of them all, the passion, as powerful as possible. |
